The Team Talks: Company Culture

ChargeItSpot is a growing retail technology company with the spirit of a startup. We are young, tenacious, and ready to get things done. But don’t take my word for it. Here’s what some of our team members had to say about ChargeItSpot company culture!
Title: Associate, Client Success
Fun Fact: I don’t actually like watermelons
Thoughts on ChargeItSpot: At ChargeItSpot, we hit the ground running. Rather than spending months onboarding, we are given responsibilities from week one.
Title: Project Manager
Favorite Food: Margaritas (they are definitely their own food group)
Thoughts on ChargeItSpot: I really love our ChargedUp events, when team members can plan something that they like to do and share it with the whole company. It’s a great way to get to know each other better.
Name: Janelle Grace
Title: Product Manager
Fun Fact: I’m an avid sports fan!
Thoughts on ChargeItSpot: I appreciate that the management team is receptive to feedback. Since the company is still evolving, it’s great to feel like we have a say about developing new guidelines.
Title: Field Services Manager
Fun Fact: I used to co-own and DJ on an Internet Classic Rock “Radio Station”
Thoughts on ChargeItSpot: Before ChargeItSpot I worked at “old school” companies where you were expected to clock in and out and never leave your desk in between. Working in a more social office, complete with a dartboard, is a completely different and fun experience.
Title: Office Manager
Fun Fact: I’m wearing pajamas in my headshot
Thoughts on ChargeItSpot: ChargeItSpot is an incredibly collaborative place to work. Even though I’m on the Operations Team, I often chat with people from Client Success and Sales about what they’re working on. From day one I felt like my ideas were heard and respected.
Title: Marketing and Communications Manager (and your friendly blog post writer)
Favorite Movie: The Birdcage
Thoughts on ChargeItSpot: When I interviewed at ChargeItSpot multiple people told me that it was the best place they have ever worked. Almost a year later, I can say that this sentiment shines through in people’s enthusiasm for their work and bond with the the team.
