Casinos Betting on Phone Charging Stations to Keep Players Charged

October 13, 2015

Tired of losing juice in the middle of your Texas Hold’Em tournament? Players can now charge up for free at five national casinos. The Monte Carlo Casino in Las Vegas, NV, the Harrah’s Casino in Chester, PA, the Sugar House Casino in Philadelphia, PA, the Century Casino in Cripple Creek, CO, and the Lodge Casino in Black Hawk, CO have all recently installed phone charging stations as a complimentary amenity for customers.

“Casinos have been one of our most successful partners,” says Sheri Tate, SVP of Product Strategy at ChargeItSpot. “They receive thousands of visitors every day, with many of them staying on the gaming floors for long hours. We wanted to give those customers a free amenity that would ensure an all-day connection. Our casino partners love how the charging kiosks encourage their customers to stick around and play longer.”Harrahs

In addition to providing casino guests with a free phone charge, some of the casino charging units feature a built-in custom card scanner and loyalty program integration allowing the kiosks to capture email addresses and be used exclusively by Rewards Members.

In an effort to expand ChargeItSpot’s collaborations with casinos, the company also recently attended the G2E 2015, the Global Gaming Expo at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The Expo attracted 30,000 exhibitors and guests from around the gaming world, showcasing everything from slot machines, to surveillance systems, to new food and beverage creations, to phone charging solutions like ChargeItSpot.
